The U.S. Hispanic - Latino market has experienced exponential growth in both population and purchasing power, and this growth is expected to continue. In 2006, a third of the nation's 296.4 million people were considered minorities. Hispanics were the largest minority group at 42.7 million, up 3.3% from mid-2004 to mid-2005.
